This portable WideBand™ IR Test Lamp is specifically designed for conducting end-to-end testing of Fire Sentry Corporation (FSC) Model FS24X and FS18X multi-spectrum electro-optical fire and flame detectors. It is not compatible with IR flame detectors from other manufacturers. Using test lamps from other manufacturers on Fire Sentry detectors is not recommended, as these detectors are engineered to disregard pulsing test lights to prevent false alarms. This versatile test lamp, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, operates on rechargeable batteries.
The device is a Class I, Div. 1 certified explosion-proof test lamp (flame simulator) ideal for testing Fire Sentry FSX, FS24X (IR3), and FS20X (UV, IR, and IR/UV) flame detectors in hazardous environments. These flame detectors are capable of detecting ultraviolet radiation in the 185-235 nm range, near-infrared, wideband infrared, and 4.4 μm IR radiation. The handheld test lamp is supplied with a universal charger compatible with 110 VAC and 220 VAC inputs.
