The 5817CBXT features three distinctive input loops (zones) for security applications.
The primary loop is supervised, ideally suited for high-priority alarm signaling such as high-security fire or intrusion, with transmission every four seconds.
The second loop integrates a built-in, normally closed reed switch designed for use with a magnetic contact.
The third loop is an additional normally closed loop for household intrusion detection, allowing the utilization of all three loops.
A fourth, automatically enrolled loop includes two tamper switches for enhanced protection of the 5817CBXT.
