The Model DXR-701 is an advanced digital receiver featuring an isolated relay output engineered for seamless integration with DX Format transmitters. Ideal for diverse remote control applications, this receiver activates its relay output upon detecting a signal from any transmitter stored in its memory, available in four configurable output modes.
In a standard setup, the receiver interfaces with systems like alarm control panels, door strikes, cameras, or high-current relays. The transmitter facilitates the activation or management of these devices. Installation should be implemented indoors or outdoors using a weather-resistant, non-metallic enclosure, utilizing the provided mounting bracket.
The digital DX code format boasts over a million unique code combinations. DX transmitters come precoded with distinct factory-set codes, eliminating the need for field coding. The receiver must be programmed with the transmitter’s code for effective system testing and operation, supporting up to 32 transmitters in memory with power-off memory retention.
The device operates on a power supply of 11-17 VDC or 12-16 VAC, and the relay’s normally open and closed contacts can handle up to 1 amp at 24 volts AC/DC. Relay activation modes are selectable by cutting jumpers: the default setting engages the relay for four seconds, with options for one-second activation, toggle mode, or latching until reset via the program button.
A nine-inch wire lead functions as the antenna, with a red program indicator light signaling RF reception. Installers can utilize this indicator to verify transmitter signal transmission and troubleshoot interference, also serving during memory programming/erasure and flashing to indicate the number of transmitters stored in memory.
