Description
The B465 Conettix Universal Dual Path Communicator is a versatile device that transforms Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) digital dialer signals or dry contact outputs from intrusion or fire control panels into IP signals for transmission over Ethernet or cellular networks. This communicator is UL 864 10th Edition compliant, in accordance with the NFPA 72 2013 standards.
Equipped with a built-in Ethernet connection and the option to add a Conettix plug-in cellular module (B440/B441/B442/B443), the communicator seamlessly transmits reports to the central station receiver. The installation of the B465 does not affect the automation programming of supported control panels, ensuring a straightforward installation process and facilitating a seamless transition from PSTN to IP. All internally generated messages by the B465 are displayed in Contact ID format at the central station.
The module can be powered by either a 16.5 VAC transformer or a 24 VDC power supply.
