The B5512 Security Control Panel: Integrated Intrusion and Fire Solutions
The B5512 Security Control Panel seamlessly combines intrusion detection and residential fire protection into a unified security system. It allows for up to 48 distinct detection points that can be organized across four separate zones.
This control panel supports multiple communication methods, including its built-in Ethernet port (excludes “E” models) or through compatible plug-in modules for event transmission over PSTN or cellular networks. With the B5512, you can effectively monitor access points like doors and windows, as well as motion in key areas such as showrooms or inventory sections. Each user benefits from personalized security credentials, including unique passcodes, wireless keyfobs, and access credentials for system management.
Utilize programmable authority levels to grant service, security, and cleaning personnel full or restricted access, depending on their roles. The control panel features three programmable outputs, expandable to 43 outputs, enabling automation tasks like lighting control and door access management. Users can:
- Arm areas like stockrooms for security during business hours.
- Conduct system tests to verify functional integrity.
- Set immediate alarms upon unauthorized access.
- Activate entry alerts with the Watch feature for customer monitoring.
- Schedule automatic system arm/disarm at set times, such as closing hours.
- Customize setups with wireless security solutions.
Central monitoring stations oversee 24-hour security operations, providing essential services and ensuring professional response to potential threats, including police and fire department notifications.

- Output A rated at 3 Amps, capable of supplying up to 1.0 A from AUX PWR.
- Outputs B and C handle up to 50 mA at 12 VDC.

Area Configurations
Configure zones to link multiple areas with shared spaces like lobbies. The shared area automatically arms when all associated zones are armed and disarms when any zone is disarmed. The Area Re-Arm feature ensures that secure areas are consistently rearmed after a specified duration, such as during service intervals.
