Description
The 4193SNP addressable V-Plex® input expanders are an excellent solution for security systems requiring additional zone inputs. These expanders offer one supervised and one unsupervised zone, compatible with any conventional detection device that provides a dry contact output. Examples include door and window contacts, motion detectors, glass break sensors, smoke and heat detectors, fire pull stations, and emergency assistance buttons. Additionally, they can be employed to monitor machine status outputs for normal, trouble, and alarm statuses, as well as for environmental monitoring and other critical status applications.
**Key Features & Advantages:**
– Can be positioned anywhere along the 2-wire addressable V-Plex bus
– Converts any conventional detection device into an addressable device, provided it has a dry contact output
– Automatically detects and learns the device serial number, eliminating the need for DIP switch addressing
– Compact size allows for easy integration into most sensing detector enclosures or splice boxes
– Includes two-zone inputs: one with a supervised 10K EOLR and one unsupervised loop
– Loop 1 offers a wide 300Ω tolerance
– Supervision for open, shorted, or normal circuit conditions
– UL Listed for both commercial burglary and fire alarm applications
