The 4297 V-Plex Loop Isolation/Extender Module delivers dual advantages for high-security applications. As an isolation module, the 4297 enables installers to organize selected zones on a single loop. This allows, for example, fire and burglary zones to be grouped separately, effectively isolating them from one another. This isolation capability ensures that a failure in one loop does not compromise the integrity of other loops. Additionally, the 4297 Module provides installers with the flexibility to extend system-wide wiring capabilities from approximately 4000 feet to 8000 feet, without incurring the extra expense of additional hardware or control panels.
