Description
The ELK-AEDBHR is an “active” RS-485 data bus hub specifically engineered for projects involving the retrofitting of an Alarm Engine Control into an older system with multiple homerun 4-conductor keypad/data cables. This hub effectively divides the primary RS-485 data bus into four managed RS-485 branches. Each branch supports two parallel homerun cables, accommodating a total of eight homeruns. The AEDBHR features terminating jumpers for each branch, which, when paired correctly with terminating jumpers on end-of-line devices, guarantee optimal operation and supervision.
