Description
The ELK-M1XEP is a versatile Ethernet Device Server equipped with an RS-232 Serial Port Interface, designed to seamlessly integrate a Control system from the M1 Family into an Ethernet network utilizing the TCP/IP protocol. This facilitates programming, remote control, and comprehensive monitoring capabilities. The device incorporates a robust embedded web server secured with a user interface constructed on a Java applet, along with email event notification features. Configuration utilities are included in the ElkRP software (version 1.5.0 or later), allowing for easy setup of the connection, network password, and other parameters. By default, the M1XEP is configured to receive a dynamic IP address from a DHCP server, such as an Ethernet switch or cable modem, but it can also be manually configured to use a static IP address if necessary.
