The Model EXA-2000 Directional Remote Antenna is engineered to boost the radio range of Linear receivers, particularly in challenging signal reception areas. By connecting to the F connector on compatible receivers, this antenna typically delivers a 20-30% increase in range. The adaptable EXA-2000 can be installed in either vertical or horizontal orientations.
The EXA-2000 is a 1/2 wave, center-fed antenna, comprising two components: an antenna assembly fitted with a ten-foot, 75-ohm coaxial cable that includes an F connector, along with two mounting brackets. For extended installations, an additional 15-foot extension cable can be added to achieve a maximum cable length of 25 feet. It is important to note that exceeding 25 feet of cable may result in diminished performance due to cable resistance.
