The B465 Conettix Universal Dual Path Communicator is an essential solution for converting Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) digital dialer and dry contact outputs from intrusion or fire control panels into IP signals suitable for Ethernet or cellular network transmission. This communicator is UL 864 10th Edition certified in accordance with NFPA 72 version 2013, ensuring high industry standards for fire alarm systems. It comes with a built-in Ethernet connection and the option to integrate a Conettix plug-in cellular module (B440/B441/B442/B443) for seamless report delivery to central station receivers. The communicator’s design ensures the existing automation programming of supported control panels remains intact, offering an effortless installation experience that facilitates an easy transition from PSTN to IP infrastructure. Messages generated by the B465 are formatted in Contact ID at the central station, ensuring clear and industry-standard communication. The device can be powered using either a 16.5 VAC transformer or a 24 VDC power supply, providing flexible installation options.
