Optimize Your Installations for the Future with LTE Technology
As the landscape of cellular technologies rapidly evolves, the phase-out of 2G/3G networks is approaching—some transitions have already been completed. It’s crucial to embrace change now. Upgrade to LTE to ensure your customers enjoy long-term investment protection and minimize future service visits.
The LE4000 seamlessly connects alarm control panels to the cellular network, delivering alarm signals directly to a monitoring station receiver (Sur-Gard System I-IP/II/III/IV/5). Utilizing the cellular network, the LE4000 provides cost-efficient, high-speed, and reliable alarm communications, and is fully compatible with control panels that utilize the Contact ID or SIA (300 baud) formats.
The LE4000 is positioned between the control panel’s telephone connection and the telephone line. In a backup capacity, the communicator monitors the PSTN phone line connection; upon detecting a failure, it automatically switches to the cellular network to transmit the alarm signal to the monitoring center. When set as the primary communicator, it transmits the alarm over the cellular network instantly.
Alarm signals are sent directly to the IP linecard of the monitoring station receiver without requiring a clearinghouse, thus saving time and reducing a potential failure point.
The LE4000 can be easily activated and initialized through either the mobile interface or the web-user interface provided by C24 Communications, eliminating the need for specialized tools.
