Description
Ensure your security system installations are future-proof with LTE. As cellular technologies rapidly advance, the phase-out of 2G and 3G networks is imminent, with some already phased out. Now is the time to transition to LTE to provide customers with long-term investment protection and minimize future service calls. The LE4010 offers seamless connectivity between alarm control panels and the cellular network, enabling direct alarm signal reporting to a monitoring station receiver (compatible with SurGard System I-IP/II/III/IV/5). This LTE communicator ensures cost-effective, high-speed, and dependable alarm communication, supporting control panels that use Contact ID or SIA (300 baud) formats.
The LE4010 is installed between the control panel’s telephone connection and the telephone line. In a backup role, it monitors the PSTN phone line connection, switching to the cellular network if the line fails, to send alarm signals to the monitoring station. In a primary role, it immediately transmits alarm signals over the cellular network. Alarm transmissions are sent directly to the monitoring station receiver’s IP linecard, eliminating the need for a clearinghouse.
Activating and initializing the LE4010 can be accomplished via mobile or web interfaces provided by C24 Communications, with no special tools required. The device intelligently monitors panel transmissions and switches to the cellular network when the phone line is compromised, applicable to both traditional POTS and newer digital technologies like VoIP.
Cost-effective rate plans are available through authorized master resellers. Contact your monitoring station or visit www.connect24.com to locate a master reseller. The C24 Communications mobile site (m.connect24.com) simplifies installation and offers intuitive troubleshooting features, reducing time and costs associated with maintenance. The LE4010 can also be configured to accept SMS commands from selected phone numbers to remotely activate PGM outputs. These outputs can be used for remotely arming/disarming your alarm system or performing other actions, such as opening a garage door.
