The ELK-WSV3 is a high-performance electric water shutoff valve, ideal for residential and light commercial domestic water systems. Designed for seamless integration with a 12V DC controller, leak detection systems, or manual push button controls, the WSV3 effectively shuts off the building’s main water supply with ease. This enhanced model, an upgrade of the critically acclaimed electric water shutoff valve, boasts a robust 12V DC high torque on/off actuator motor and an emergency manual control handle for power outage scenarios. It also includes a multi-colored LED status indicator for user-friendly monitoring.
Engineered to close the main water line in less than one second upon activation, the ELK-WSV3 comprises a 1-inch full bore stainless steel ball valve with commercial-grade seats and seals, ensuring no water flow restriction and safety for potable water use. The motorized actuator is equipped with a permanently lubricated gear drive, providing ample torque to operate the valve under high pressure or after long periods of inactivity. Control of the ELK-WSV3 can be achieved via an SPDT (single pole, double throw) relay, compatible with virtually any security or automation system, and can also be manually operated with a straightforward SPDT latching push button.
