The PG9985 PowerG Flood Detector is a state-of-the-art, fully supervised, two-way wireless flood detection system featuring a high-sensitivity probe connected via a robust 1.8m (6ft) cable. This detector is engineered to identify water presence, offering early warning signals for possible flooding scenarios. The transmitter unit is strategically mounted at a higher elevation on the wall, while the probe is placed at floor level or at a specified height to optimize detection capabilities. In case of a water leak, the probe efficiently senses moisture and promptly relays this critical data to the transmitter.
With its integrated visible link quality LED indicator, the PG9985 empowers installers to easily identify the optimal installation site, eliminating the need for repeated checks against the central control panel. Moreover, the flood probe in the PG9985 is continuously monitored to issue a notification if the connection is lost, ensuring that the system remains in full working condition precisely when it’s needed most.
