Description
The SL-100TNR is a 30-meter outdoor, battery-powered active beam sensor designed for securing driveways, open spaces, and small perimeters in security industry applications. This dual beam system provides significant flexibility in power configurations, supporting universal CR123 batteries and a hybrid setup that allows the receiver to be hardwired.
Versatile Power Options: The SL-TNR series is compatible with D size lithium batteries as well as universal CR123 batteries, facilitated by optional battery holders (CRH-5). For operations using universal batteries, a setup comprising two packs of CRH-5 battery holders and 16 CR123 batteries is required, which can last up to a year. The battery compartment is conveniently placed at the front of the beam sensor, allowing easy access and replacement without disrupting beam alignment or system configuration. Note that batteries are sold separately.
Hybrid Configuration: In situations where the receiver is near a main power source while the transmitter is difficult to wire, the transmitter can be hardwired using an optional power converter (PCU-5) that fits seamlessly inside the beam sensor.
Wireless Flexibility: The SL-TNR infrared beams include a back box compatible with most wireless transmitters available on the market, simplifying the integration of wireless alarm systems to the perimeter of the premises. With the optional BCU-5, battery power can be effectively shared between the beam sensors and the wireless transmitter, enhancing operational efficiency in security installations.
