The SL-200TNR is a 60m outdoor battery-powered active infrared beam solution, specifically engineered for protecting driveways, open spaces, and smaller perimeters. This dual-beam system offers incredible flexibility with its power configurations, including options for universal CR123 batteries and a hybrid setup that combines wired and wireless elements.
The SL-TNR series is compatible with D size lithium batteries as well as universal CR123 batteries when using optional battery holders (CRH-5). With universal batteries, you’ll need two CRH-5 holders and 16 CR123 batteries, providing up to one year of operation. The batteries are conveniently located at the front of the beam for straightforward access and replacement. Note that batteries are sold separately from the device.
For scenarios where the receiver is near a primary power source but wiring the transmitter is not feasible, there is an option to hardwire the transmitter using an optional power converter (PCU-5) that fits neatly inside the beam. The SL-TNR infrared beams come equipped with a back box to accommodate most third-party wireless transmitters, facilitating the expansion of wireless alarm systems to property boundaries. Additionally, the optional BCU-5 allows the battery power to be shared efficiently between the beams and the wireless transmitter, enhancing system integration and performance.
