The SL-350QN is a 100m outdoor active infrared beam set designed for perimeter security applications in the security industry. This wired system can be integrated into an IP network when utilized with the IP/POE module, PIE-1. Optimal alignment between the transmitter and receiver is crucial to enhance the functionality of the active beams. To simplify optical alignment, the SL-350QN chassis is designed with vivid yellow colors, making it easily visible from a distance. Moreover, the innovative “Sniper Viewfinder” telescope lens provides exceptional visibility for precise optical alignment, ensuring quick, accurate installations and stable performance even over long distances.
With an IP65 rating, the SL-350QN is engineered to withstand both water and dust intrusion. Its design incorporates dual hoods on the front cover, strategically placed over the upper and lower beams, to prevent frost buildup that could impede signal strength. The housing is constructed from UV-resistant polycarbonate material, which protects against ultraviolet ray-induced degradation while maintaining excellent transparency for infrared beams over time. This beam set is ideally suited for applications such as perimeter security, roofs and ceilings, gardens, and driveways.
