The BX Shield (BXS) series consists of advanced quad PIR sensors tailored for securing windows and the immediate perimeters of buildings or sites. Designed for optimal usability and featuring a versatile layout, the BX Shield series incorporates four PIR elements, with two positioned on each side of the unit. Each side’s detection range and sensitivity can be independently adjusted, allowing up to 80 feet total (40 feet per side) for adaptable performance. Integrated with Super Multidimensional Analysis (SMDA) logic, the BX Shield significantly enhances resistance to false alarms caused by temperature fluctuations or the movement of trees and vegetation, effectively discerning between nuisance triggers and legitimate security breaches. Additionally, the BXS performs exceptionally well in scenarios where the temperature contrast between a human body and the background is minimal, utilizing its ultra-sensitive detection mode to boost PIR sensitivity and minimize the risk of missed alarms.
