The VXI series stands out as a top-performing outdoor intrusion detection sensor line, delivering highly reliable approach detection up to 12 meters. Tailored for both residential and commercial security applications, these sensors should be installed at approximately 1.2 meters in height. They incorporate dual PIR technology, creating a double-layered detection zone that triggers alarms only when both layers are activated. Featuring advanced digital analysis to minimize false alarms, these sensors are IP55-rated for weather resistance and equipped with double conductive shielding to mitigate sunlight interference. The VXI-AM models offer hardwired connectivity with anti-masking capabilities. Utilizing a sophisticated digital microprocessor, the sensors evaluate infrared emissions to distinguish between those generated by humans and those caused by sunlight, animals, swinging vegetation, or adverse weather conditions, significantly lowering false alarm propensity. The detection range of VXI sensors can be adjusted to 12m, 8.5m, 6m, 5.5m, or 2.5m, allowing for flexible adaptation to various site configurations.
