The VX Shield (VXS-AM) series is a collection of advanced outdoor PIR sensors offering 40ft by 90° detection coverage, making them perfect for both residential and small commercial properties. These sensors feature an adaptable design and deliver high accuracy in minimizing false alarms. The series includes two PIR models and two dual-tech versions, all boasting digitally-enhanced signal recognition logic and superior multidimensional analysis (SMDA). SMDA technology analyzes detection patterns and environmental data to enhance immunity against temperature fluctuations and moving vegetation, significantly reducing the likelihood of false alarms. The VX Shield series is engineered for straightforward installation, featuring a rotation lock that simplifies opening and closing of the detector’s cover. Key sensor adjustment components are marked in blue to clearly indicate manipulation points for the sensor detection area. Additionally, a built-in spirit level and an automatic walk test mode, which activates upon closing the cover, are included to ease the setup process.
