This device can be effortlessly attached to a wide range of high-value assets such as paintings, flat-screen TVs, electronic devices, family heirlooms, safes, machinery, and equipment.
Designed as a premier solution for early warning notifications and alarm verification, the 5870API integrates patented Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) Accelerometer technology. This innovative technology detects movement by sensing acceleration along the X and Y axes. Once attached to an asset, the device will activate a “detect” alert if any attempt is made to move or tamper with the protected item.
Intended for compatibility with Honeywell Home alarm systems that support 5800 Series wireless devices, the transmitter within this unit is fully supervised, capable of relaying alarm, tamper, trouble, and low battery notifications directly to the alarm control panel.
