The AP-5 Wireless Access Controller is engineered for versatile access control applications, capable of managing one or two door strikes, magnetic locks, barrier gates, automatic gates, or door operators. Its compact, wireless design makes it ideal for diverse security infrastructure projects.
The AP-5 continuously monitors each MGT safety edge transmitter for regular status updates, detects tamper signals, and identifies low battery alerts. In the event of a fault, it emits a beep every five seconds, and the source of the issue is displayed. To activate the access relay during a supervisory fault condition on any MGT transmitter, the access transmitter requires double activation.
This device supports power input from 12-24 Volts AC or DC and features Form C relay outputs capable of switching up to 1 Amp each. An EARTH GROUND terminal is included to ensure optimal protection against lightning and static interference.
