Description
The AtlasIED TSD-MIX42RT 4×2 mic/line mixer is an essential solution for environments requiring paging, priority music override, and remote input selection with level control. It is versatile for use in settings like meeting rooms, digital signage, and luxury suites, either independently or integrated with amplifiers, providing both stereo and mono multi-source mix control.
The mixer features a mic/balanced line input via a removable Phoenix-style connector and three stereo 3.5mm inputs. To support condenser microphones, switchable phantom power is available on the mic input. Its high-quality, low-noise internal mic preamps deliver clear and quiet performance without unwanted coloration, and a 12dB/octave high-pass filter at 125Hz is available on the mic input to reduce bass rumble and low-frequency feedback.
The TSD-MIX42RT is compatible with the WPD-MIX42RT decor style wall plate, designed for remote operation of the mixer. This wall plate includes an audio source slide selector and a source volume control, with an LED indicator to show the selected and active source. It fits into a single-gang electrical outlet and utilizes an 8-conductor interface connection comprising a single 4-position removable Phoenix connector and dual 2-position Phoenix-style connectors. When linked with the TSD-MIX42RT and the Juke Box Override, the system ensures that pages override the selected audio source for clarity.
Priority paging is achievable through contact closure or VOX trigger on Input 1, muting Inputs 2, 3, or 4 as assigned. For remote level control, the AtlasIED AAVC-10K or WPD-VC10K decorative wall plate allows convenient adjustment of the entire master mix bus or individual Inputs 1, 2, 3. Additionally, a variable output limiter provides system protection by minimizing clipping and distortion, which is particularly beneficial when mixing microphone and line sources with diverse volume levels.
