The 571 (571D/571C) digital communication station is a versatile, programmable touchscreen device designed for initiating audio paging and managing messages with the GLOBALCOM® Series Announcement Control Systems.
This communication station is compatible with three different mounting options: the 571MK-DT for desktop installation, the 571MK-S for surface mounting, and the 571MK-F for flush mounting. For pre-construction setups, the 571MK-MRH and 571MK-HRV mud ring brackets are available for use with the 571MK-F.
The 571 comes equipped with a handheld microphone featuring a magnetic attachment, along with a removable steel plate to conceal the built-in microphone strain relief. An optional security screw can further restrict access to the removable steel plate and the microphone connector. The device offers a redundant PoE connection, with the option for a 24/48V DC auxiliary power connection for non-PoE network switches. The included microphone utilizes an omnidirectional element to eliminate proximity effects, ensuring clear sound quality. An internal beeper and the touchscreen interface provide user guidance throughout the paging process.
With the GCK system, creating template screens for the 571 is straightforward. This functionality supports paging, prerecorded message triggers, audio routing, visual alerts, and intercom requests. Access to the 571 can be secured using a 4-digit PIN, and different templates can be displayed based on the specific PIN entered.
The 571 is optimally designed to integrate with AtlasIED’s FAS (Flight Announcement System) via the GCK plugin. By utilizing GCK with the FAS plugin, the 571 can access FAS template screens for flight-related tasks such as boarding, flight status checks, updates, and general flight messages. Access to these templates can be controlled by a combination of gate, airline, and/or PIN login credentials.
