Description

Atlas Sound AP-15TU loudspeakers feature a high-performance compression driver, delivering up to 15 watts RMS power handling for exceptional intelligibility and wide dispersion, ensuring optimal sound projection and penetration. Constructed with weather-resistant metal and a re-entrant acoustic path, these loudspeakers provide robust protection against water, humidity, vermin, and corrosion. The innovative Omni-Purpose® mounting bracket allows versatile directional sound dispersion with both vertical and horizontal positioning, and includes options for surface or strap mounting to pillars and I-beams.

Each model is equipped with an integrated 25/70.7V Vari-Tap® transformer, which offers a screwdriver-adjustable, 7-position watt/impedance selection switch. The wiring terminals are safeguarded with a vandal-resistant adapter cover to accommodate control equipment using cable or conduit. Notably, the AP-15TU model does not include a capacitor.

These loudspeakers meet or exceed UL standards for audible signal appliances and can operate in an ambient temperature range from 66°C (150°F) to -35°C (-30°F). They comply with UL Standard 1480 for Speakers for Fire Protective Signaling Systems and align with the California State Fire Marshal (Title 19) regulations.
