The AtlasIED AP-15TU-USA speaker features an advanced compression driver capable of handling up to 15 Watts RMS power, offering exceptional intelligibility and dispersion for optimal sound projection and penetration. Its weather-resistant metal construction and re-entrant acoustic path provide robust protection against environmental challenges such as water, humidity, pests, and corrosion. The versatile Omni-Purpose® mounting bracket enables precise directional sound dispersion with both vertical and horizontal positioning options. Additionally, it offers provisions for secure surface or strap mounting to pillars and I-beams. The AP-15TU-USA is equipped with an integrated 25/70.7V Vari-Tap® transformer, featuring a screwdriver-adjustable, 7-position watt/impedance selection switch. The wiring terminals are safeguarded by a vandal-resistant adapter cover, ideal for control equipment using cable or conduit. This speaker meets or exceeds UL Listed standards for audible signal appliances and can operate in ambient temperature ranges from 70°C (158°F) to -40°C (-40°F). It also complies with UL Standard 1480 for speakers used in fire protective signaling systems and meets the California State Fire Marshal (Title 19) requirements.
