The APF-15TU-USA voice control loudspeaker incorporates a high-efficiency compression driver capable of delivering up to 15 Watts of continuous power, ensuring exceptional intelligibility and audio conversion efficiency for optimal sound projection and penetration.
This loudspeaker offers versatile installation options, allowing for both flush and recessed mounting on interior and exterior walls or ceilings. Recessed installation is possible in a 5 1/2″ deep opening or enclosure and is compatible with various grilles, enclosures, and mounting rings like the L20 Series (reference ATS003855). For mounting in 8″ diameter baffles, accessory kits such as the MK-2 or FAMT-6 can be utilized.
Equipped with a built-in 25/70.7V Vari-Tap® transformer, the APF-15TU-USA features a screwdriver-adjustable, 7-position watt/impedance selection switch, enhancing customization options. Its magnet assembly includes a self-aligning, field-replaceable diaphragm, and the wiring terminals are safeguarded by a vandal-resistant adapter cover, supporting secure cable or conduit use.
Constructed with all-metal, environment-resistant materials and featuring a re-entrant acoustic path, this unit offers superior protection against water, humidity, vermin, physical damage, and corrosion. Finished with grey baked epoxy, the loudspeaker meets UL Standard 1480 for Fire Protective Loudspeakers, operates efficiently within a temperature range of 70°C (158°F) to -40°C (-40°F), and is California State Fire Marshal Listed. It also adheres to the Buy American Act standards.
