Description
The AtlasIED IP-APX is a robust, weather-resistant high-performance IP horn designed with constant directivity, featuring a rotating bell and versatile wall or pole mounting options. This state-of-the-art communications device seamlessly integrates with Unified Communications (VoIP) infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud-based, enabling announcements to transcend traditional desktop telephony and audio pathways.
The IP-APX IP Endpoint offers a precise 60° x 40° constant-dispersion pattern across a controlled frequency range of 1.25-10 kHz. Its innovative rotating bell adjusts in 15° increments for optimal site-specific projection. Additionally, the triple lock security mounting system ensures swift installation and enduring stability.
Compatible with Singlewire, AtlasIED, Syn-Apps, and Intrado notification platforms, the AtlasIED IP-APX serves as a communication endpoint enhancing audio broadcasting capabilities crucial for physical security, everyday communications, and advanced alerting systems. It supports WAN and LAN infrastructures, providing capabilities such as bell schedules and scheduled announcements.
The AtlasIED IP-APX supports Call Manager publisher-subscriber SIP Service for call processing failover, ensuring remote call processing even during WAN outages by maintaining redundancy. In Cisco UMC environments, IPX endpoints can be registered under either basic or advanced third-party SIP services, catering to paging functionalities. For publisher-subscriber configurations, the advanced SIP device service is required. The IP-APX endpoint can register directly as a SIP device with a SIP server or VoIP Communications Manager, supporting critical alerts and public address applications.
