Description
The Model PD-5VT is a 40-watt compression driver featuring a 2″ voice coil and a robust ceramic magnet. It comes with a built-in, varnish-impregnated, tropic-sealed, multi-tap 70.7-volt line-matching transformer, which can also be adapted for 25-volt audio systems. This transformer allows for various terminal selections to match the appropriate impedance and power settings. The PD-5VT offers a plane wave frequency response ranging from 190Hz to 4.2kHz. Designed for durability, it easily mounts onto large format horns using the standard 1 3/8″-18 male coupling thread. The model features corrosion-resistant screw-type wiring terminals, protected by a transparent, impact-resistant plastic cover that also offers strain relief for the interconnecting cable. The units are coated with a grey, baked epoxy finish for added resilience.
