Description
The AL-IRDS infrared dome sensor is engineered to integrate seamlessly within the Atlas Learn amplified learning system. Designed for versatility, this sensor can be mounted on either a wall or ceiling tile using the provided mounting bracket. Each unit comes equipped with a 10-meter RG6 coaxial cable to connect the sensor to an AL2430 amplifier/receiver. The AL-IRDS is compatible with both the AL-MYNA and AL-MAGPIE infrared wireless microphones. Utilizing infrared technology offers the crucial benefit of avoiding frequency interference often caused by wireless Internet routers, cordless phones, or other electronic devices. Moreover, infrared ensures there is no cross-talk between adjacent rooms, as each room’s IR dome receives signals solely from microphones within its immediate vicinity.
