The 8″ blind-mount speaker enclosure systems offer an efficient solution for secure speaker installation, particularly in retrofit ceiling applications. These units come with all necessary hardware, including a patented support mechanism featuring adjustable mounting ears that telescope outward and vertically to fit ceiling thicknesses ranging from 1/2″ (13mm) to 1 3/8″ (35mm). Constructed from CRS material, the enclosures are designed with torsion-spring receptacles, facilitating the quick installation of torsion-spring grilles, while J-Nuts are included to support surface-mounting grille options. For cable management, the enclosure backplates are engineered with three 1/2″ (13mm) conduit knockouts. Additionally, sound-damping material is integrated to reduce metallic resonance. The Model BMT95-8-7 variant offers a 7″ (178mm) depth, featuring high-density fiberglass fill and a durable textured black epoxy finish.
