The AtlasIED 96-8 is a budget-friendly cylindrical protective enclosure designed for compatibility with various AtlasIED grilles. Constructed from welded cold-rolled steel (CRS) with a painted finish, this unit is undercoated and lined with patch-jute to minimize mechanical and acoustical resonances. It features the innovative EZ Mount Support System (Patent # 4,484,658), which efficiently transfers the combined weight of the speaker, baffle, and enclosure to the ceiling’s support structure using adjustable support rails that are included with the unit. These rails can be vertically adjusted and securely fastened to the enclosure brackets with the provided screws, eliminating the need for a tile bridge or tedious screw mounting process.
