Rough-in mounting plate designed for new construction is compatible with the EVID C4.2 ceiling speakers (4 pieces). The RR series mounting plates facilitate the installation of EVID ceiling speakers in sheetrock or plaster ceilings. In most cases, no extra hardware is required. It’s recommended to install the optional RR series rough-in accessories before the ceiling material is applied. These rough-in accessories serve as a cutout guide for production-line style installations, ensuring precise speaker positioning when holes are cut in the sheetrock.
