The two-piece horizontal boom assembly is constructed from 7/8″ diameter cold-rolled steel, featuring a robust, die-cast gyromatic swivel and a 6-lb adjustable counterweight for precise and stable positioning. The tubing ends with an adjustable microphone holder swivel, equipped with a standard 5/8″ – 27 thread to accommodate all microphones, holders, and adapters. The vertical tube assembly is made from 11/8″ and 7/8″ chrome-plated cold rolled steel, incorporating a wearproof grip-action clutch for easy adjustment and secure locking. This model includes casters for a height range of 49″ to 73″. The triangular cast metal base boasts edge-concentrated weight distribution for enhanced stability and is finished in a sleek ebony epoxy with a chrome shell.
SB-11WE. This cost-effective studio boom is ideal for small studio and broadcast applications, as well as stage miking for drums and percussion instruments. It features a 60″ long two-piece horizontal boom assembly crafted from steel tubing, complete with a Performer Series swivel clamp and an adjustable 2-lb counterweight, ensuring effortless orientation of the boom arm. The tubing incorporates a 90° angled end for optimal microphone positioning, terminating with a standard 5/8″ – 27 thread to accommodate all microphones, holders, and adapters. The vertical tube assembly, constructed from 11/8″ and 7/8″ diameter cold rolled steel, allows for an adjustable height range of 43″ to 68″. This design includes a wearproof grip-action clutch for reliable locking control.
