Description
The AA200PHD is a versatile six-channel mixer amplifier specifically engineered for business paging and background music (BGM) installations, as well as medium to large speech privacy systems and scenarios requiring music on hold (MOH) with paging capabilities. This amplifier features one microphone/line input and two stereo line inputs, allowing for integration with various input sources such as paging microphones, media players, and digital audio receivers.
Distinguishing the AAPHD Series is its patent-pending automated diagnostic feature, known as the Push Here Diagnostic (PHD), which automatically checks connected loudspeaker lines for wiring and impedance issues. After connecting all loudspeakers, this system ensures that their tap settings don’t surpass the amplifier’s power rating, verifies that no loudspeakers are incorrectly set to 8Ω, and confirms that the wiring is short-free.
Additionally, the amplifier offers a Remote Input Selection and Remote Level Control function, enabling integration with a remote wall plate, allowing users to select inputs and adjust volume from up to 200 feet away from the unit.
The AA200PHD delivers 200 watts of output power into 25V, 70.7V, or 4Ω loudspeaker configurations. The unit’s rear panel DIP switch facilitates the creation of a Zone 2 output mix from inputs 1-4, with the capability to mute Inputs 2-6 from signals on Input 1 for paging applications requiring source priority. Inputs 1-4 can be designated as either Mic or Line inputs with optional Phantom Power availability.
