Description
The DPA2402 amplifier is a powerhouse of flexibility, performance, and control, offering a suite of features tailored for audio applications demanding more than just top-notch sound quality. This network-based, DSP-controlled 4-channel amplifier is engineered to adapt to diverse installation needs, with three configurable amplification setups. The factory setting is a two-channel 70V mode, but it can be reconfigured for four channels of low impedance amplification, supporting either 4Ω or 8Ω load impedances. For systems needing both low and high impedance amplification, the DPA2402 can be set up to handle 70V/100V for paging or background audio on one channel, alongside two 4Ω or 8Ω channels for foreground stereo applications.
Equipped with four balanced line inputs and a versatile accessory slot, the amplifier allows for integration of an optional 4-channel Dante™ receiver card or a mic/line/AUX input card, expanding input capacity to eight channels. Its DSP tools—level controls, EQs, limiters, filters, and delay—enable comprehensive signal management across its four amplifier channels. These channels’ output levels can be adjusted via front panel potentiometers or an onboard GUI, with options for wired remote control to simplify user interaction.
The DPA2402 also boasts GUI-based input/output level metering and assignable mute functions, which can be activated through audio signals or contact closures. DSP settings are accessible via computer, tablet, or mobile device through a web browser, ensuring flexible management with password protection for security. Additionally, the included PC-based site manager software efficiently discovers all DPA amplifiers on a network, facilitates single-click access, and supports IP address identification, fault reporting, and remote activation via a scheduler timer.
The versatility and extensive local or network control capabilities of the DPA Series amplifiers make them an exceptional choice for today’s dynamic commercial audio landscape.
