The Electro-Voice CPS4.5 amplifier features four separate Class-D Variable Load Drive (VLD) amplifier modules, each delivering up to 500 Watts to Low-Z or High-Z loads. Each channel can be individually configured for maximum power output into either 2 Ω, 4 Ω, 70V, or 100V networks without any output transformers. Specifically designed for the professional audio installation industry, significant attention has been given to long-term cost efficiency: the CPS4.5 boasts low current consumption and minimal heat output, along with a remote standby mode consuming just 5 Watts. The optional remote control module, RCM-810, enables control and monitoring via IRIS-Net, allowing for amplifier status checks and real-time load monitoring. Additionally, using the RCM-810, the Variable Load Drive settings can be adjusted for optimal power output into any load from 2 Ω to 10 Ω, in increments of 0.1 Ω.
