This unit is equipped with switchable phantom power, facilitating the use of condenser microphones, and it includes four EQ cut filters to target feedback-prone frequencies and enhance vocal clarity. Its variable mic preamp ensures reduced noise levels, preventing unwanted coloration and maintaining consistent tonality. Additionally, each mic input features a 12dB @ 125Hz high-pass filter to reduce bass rumble and low-frequency feedback, keeping the focus on the vocal range. For added protection, an output limiter/compressor is integrated to prevent clipping and eliminate distortion. With Mic Mute and Mic On controls, the system allows for push-to-talk capability and speaker priority muting, ensuring optimal performance in dynamic audio environments.
