**Electro-Voice EVC Series Overview:**
Electro-Voice’s EVC series professional loudspeakers provide versatile solutions across a wide range of audio applications requiring wide bandwidth, efficient directivity control, and high output in a compact and budget-friendly design. They are engineered to integrate seamlessly with other EVInnovation models like the EVF, EVH, and EVA.
The high-frequency section integrates a 1.25-inch pure titanium dome compression driver, seamlessly connected to a rotatable constant directivity waveguide for consistent pattern control and smooth, linear audio reproduction. The low-frequency component utilizes a high-output woofer, crafted through cutting-edge computer-assisted optimization, ensuring low distortion, high efficiency, and clear intelligibility at elevated sound pressure levels. The passive crossover employs a fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley network, featuring 24 dB per octave slopes to enhance off-axis response and improve vocal range clarity.
The EVC series provides a cost-effective solution for a wide array of fixed installations. Constructed from 15-mm plywood and finished with a robust EVCoat, these enclosures offer exceptional durability. Multiple M10 rigging points and attachment features for an optional U-bracket or a pan/tilt wall mount enhance installation versatility. All EVC loudspeakers accommodate wire gauges up to 10 AWG, with input panels that can accept optional covers featuring NL4-type connectors or weatherized gland nuts.
For 70V/100V configurations, the input panel is designed with an internal landing pad, facilitating the installation of the high-quality TK150 audio transformer. Integrating the TK150 with the input panel activates EV’s proprietary Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC), safeguarding low-frequency performance and maintaining a stable load to the amplifier, even with multiple loudspeakers connected in parallel. This technology ensures transformer-equipped and standard EVC loudspeakers deliver indistinguishable sound quality.
