Description
The Electro-Voice EVID-P6.2 is a high-performance two-way pendant loudspeaker system. It features a complete assembly including a bezel, magnetic grille, rear enclosure, 6.5-inch coaxial two-way speaker with an integrated line-matching transformer. A notable feature of this loudspeaker is its titanium dome tweeter. Equipped with a 2nd order crossover network and a robust protection circuit, it safeguards the system, woofer, and tweeter from excessive power levels. The transformer in the EVID-P6.2 offers various wattage selections, including 1.88W (70-V only), 3.75W, 7.5W, 15W, and 30W, compatible with 70-V or 100-V lines, or an 8-ohm bypass, with user-friendly adjustments made via a switch on the front baffle, accessible by removing the magnetic grille.
The speaker’s perforated grille is available in semi-gloss black or white powder-coated enamel, with the baffle, bezel, and rear enclosure crafted from UL 94V-0 rated ABS for enhanced durability. On the rear, connections are made through a 4-pin terminal block, supporting direct 12-gauge wire links and allowing passthrough connectivity for additional speakers.
