The Electro-Voice EVID-P6.2 is a versatile two-way pendant loudspeaker system, ideal for various audio installations. This comprehensive package includes a bezel assembly, magnetic grille, rear enclosure, a 6.5-inch coaxial two-way speaker, and an integrated line-matching transformer designed for optimal sound performance. Featuring a titanium dome tweeter, it utilizes a 2nd order crossover network with an advanced protection circuit safeguarding the network, woofer, and tweeter from power surges. The transformer offers multiple power settings—1.88W (70V only), 3.75W, 7.5W, 15W, or 30W—accommodating both 70-V and 100-V lines, with an 8-ohm bypass option. Adjustments are made effortlessly via a front baffle switch, easily accessible by removing the magnetic grille.
The perforated grille comes in a semi-gloss black or white powder-coated enamel finish, while the baffle, bezel, and rear enclosure are constructed from UL 94V-0 rated ABS for durability. Rear connections include a 4-pin terminal block, facilitating straightforward speaker integration with 12-gauge wire and passthrough for extending the system.
