The Atlas Sound FA138 is a top-tier 8″ coaxial loudspeaker specifically designed for superior sound performance in the audio industry. This 100-watt loudspeaker features a circuit board-mounted high-pass/low-pass crossover, ensuring exceptional audio quality. The unit is equipped with a reinforced polypropylene cone woofer, a custom butyl rubber surround, a 1-1/2″ vented Kapton voice coil, a 21 oz. magnet, and a 1/2″ mylar-dome ferrofluid tweeter, all contributing to its powerful, clean, and weather-resistant output. As part of the Strategy Series, this model provides acoustic and application flexibility with high-performance FA97-8 Series enclosures (.22ft3) with acoustic batting and the economical FA95-6 Series backbox enclosures (.17ft3). For efficient installation, the loudspeaker front-loads into the enclosures, allowing quick and easy ceiling mounting using a screwdriver to adjust the rotating clamps. Alternatively, the loudspeakers can be mounted into ceilings or walls with limited depth using the plaster ring FAPR-8 instead of an enclosure. The baffle selection offers a choice of two stylish grilles with three serrated studs for quick, hardware-free, push-on installation into Strategy Series enclosures.
