The GD87W is a cutting-edge coaxial loudspeaker package offering performance specifications identical to the renowned Atlas Sound Model C803A, guaranteeing seamless integration into existing C803A audio systems without compromising sound quality. This coaxial loudspeaker delivers an impressive nominal frequency response range of 45Hz-19kHz, coupled with a broad and consistent 105° dispersion pattern at the 2kHz octave band. It boasts a dynamic combination of an 8″ (203mm) low-frequency driver and a 3″ (76mm) high-frequency driver, integrated through a built-in crossover network. Featuring a 10oz. (260g) ceramic magnet on the woofer and a 2.35 oz. (67g) ceramic magnet on the tweeter, the unit achieves an average sensitivity of 96dB (1W/1M). The GD87W comes with a high-efficiency 8-watt 70.7V transformer that has a minimal insertion loss of 0.6dB. Engineered with audio-grade laminations, the premium transformer provides a full-range frequency response of +1dB from 50Hz to 15kHz, with primary taps at 1, 2, 4, and 8 watts. The package includes a factory-installed 62-8 style CRS baffle with concealed mounting studs and screw mount hardware, all finished in a durable white powder-coated epoxy.
