The M1000-W sound masking speaker assembly is expertly engineered to deliver the precise spectrum of sound masking signals into the plenum space. It features an innovative 734 cubic inch square enclosure, designed to enhance low frequency response. Included within the package is a specially crafted 8″ dual cone speaker. The unit incorporates a high-efficiency 70.7V internal transformer, paired with an external tap selector switch, ensuring straightforward system tuning.
The exclusive mounting brackets streamline the installation process. This advanced suspension system employs collapsible, plated hangers that are configured for quick upward, downward, or lateral installation. These hangers come pre-installed on the unit and conveniently fold flat for shipping. Designed to comply with various local code requirements, the system includes a cover with both knockouts and a strain relief, accommodating the use of rigid or flexible conduit when needed, and simplifying “through” connections with its removable plate. It is UL 2043 listed for safe use in air handling spaces.
A strategically placed wire strain relief on the top of the enclosure ensures secure speaker cable termination.
