The AtlasIED M1000A35 is a state-of-the-art sound masking solution engineered to improve speech privacy and optimize workplace acoustics. This sound masking system is perfect for small to medium-sized projects. When integrated with M1000 passive speakers, it provides masking coverage of over 12,000 square feet, subject to installation conditions and speaker tap settings. The compact unit measures 12″x12″x6″ and boasts a high-performance 8″ wide-range speaker, delivering a frequency response of 80Hz to 16kHz, powered by an internal 5-Watt amplifier. It also has a 30-Watt amplifier output to support additional non-powered speakers like the M1000, M1000R, and M2000 series. The unit includes independent amplifier level controls for precise adjustments of both the internal speaker and external amplifier output. With a tailored pink noise spectrum using a variable filter, it offers an excellent speech privacy and sound masking environment. The VCA remote level control port allows for remote adjustments via external 10k pots. The optional ATMASKSC is designed for use with the M1000A35, providing remote 1dB precision level adjustment and securing the system from accidental shutoff, thereby facilitating sound masking system commissioning. The M1000A35 utilizes an efficient Class D amplifier and meets UL2043 plenum rating standards. It features an external UL-rated 24VDC power supply, and installation is simplified by a single suspension point mounting method, complete with two removable hanger brackets.
