The SBMS solution is perfectly suited for large retail environments, designed specifically for spaces with open beam ceilings. Its square design seamlessly integrates with the aesthetic of open beam ceilings. Offering exceptional flexibility, the SBMS accommodates various conduit specifications. Built-in knockouts support both 1/2″ and 3/4″ conduit in compliance with local regulations, while an integral “romex” style connector streamlines installation for scenarios where conduit is unnecessary. The SBMS features a 25V/70.7V internal transformer and comes in a neutral white epoxy finish to simplify inventory management and ordering processes. Key features include convenient lead wire extensions for quick field connections, a durable white powder coat finish, and an easy-to-install loudspeaker package with provisions for fast clamp-mount installation on I-beams and girders. The package includes an 8″ dual-cone loudspeaker with a pre-mounted transformer, baffle, and enclosure equipped with clamp mounts. It is UL certified, meeting the UL1480 safety standards.
