The SD72 loudspeaker incorporates the advanced generation of high-performance cone speakers, closely mirroring the sonic attributes of previous C-Series models. This continuity in audio quality ensures that contractors and designers familiar with the C-Series can expect consistent performance with the SD72. The SD72 is an 8″ (205mm) dual cone speaker with a power rating of 25 watts, featuring a robust 10oz. (260g) ceramic magnet. It is crafted with a curvilinear, treated paper cone designed to minimize harmonic distortion. The loudspeaker is also equipped with a full 1″ copper voice coil, complemented by a black anodized aluminum former to enhance power dissipation. Operating within a frequency response range of 45Hz to 19kHz and offering a sensitivity of 97dB along with a dispersion angle of 105°, this model delivers impressive audio coverage. The package comes with a factory-installed 25/70.7V line matching transformer, with adjustable taps from .25 to 5 watts.
