– CS95-8 8-inch Recessed Round Stacking Enclosure.
– 81-8R 8-inch T-Bar Tile Bridge.
The SD72W speaker represents the latest evolution in Atlas’s high-performance cone speaker technology, offering consistency in audio quality reminiscent of the previous C-Series models. This consistency ensures that contractors and system designers familiar with AtlasIED’s C-Series speakers can seamlessly transition to using the SD72W with confidence.
The SD72W model is a sophisticated dual cone, 25-watt, 8-inch speaker, equipped with a robust 10oz ceramic magnet. Its design incorporates a curvilinear, treated paper cone to minimize harmonic distortion. Moreover, the speaker is engineered with a full 1-inch copper voice coil on a black anodized aluminum former, enhancing power dissipation. It comes with a factory-installed 25/70.7V line-matching transformer, offering tap selections between 0.25 to 5 watts. With a frequency response range of 45Hz to 19kHz, a sensitivity of 97dB, and a 105° dispersion angle, the SD72W delivers exceptional audio performance.
The package includes a factory-installed CRS baffle with concealed speaker mounting studs and screw mount hardware. The SD72W baffle is compatible with a wide range of AtlasIED 8-inch tile bridges, mounting rings, and enclosures. The CS95-8 enclosure is cleverly designed with four combination conduit knockouts (0.5 – 0.75 inches), four J-clips, and two flexible, perforated mounting straps. Its one-piece CRS construction is undercoated, patch-jute lined, and finished with epoxy for durability. Finally, the 81-8R tile bridge features a round cut-out, optimized to pair with the CS95-8 enclosure, and is constructed from 24-gauge CRS with an electro-galvanized rust-resistant finish, ensuring long-lasting reliability.
