The SM Series loudspeakers are engineered for exceptional sound reproduction and modern design. The SM12CXT-B model includes the powerful 12CXT60, a 250-watt speaker that integrates a 12-inch diameter low-frequency transducer with a 1-inch exit compression driver.
Featuring a curvilinear, treated-paper cone, this speaker minimizes harmonic distortion, and its built-in crossover network ensures smooth frequency transition between drivers. Both the low-frequency transducer and high-frequency driver are equipped with permanently aligned voice coils to deliver low distortion audio performance, with copper coils and Polyimide voice coil formers enhancing durability.
Housed in a wood enclosure with a metal grille, the SM12CXT-B is designed for robust applications. Its internal hardware allows flexibility, with multiple (12) 1/4″-20 inserts available for versatile overhead suspension in various configurations.
With a 90-degree conical pattern (2 kHz octave band) and outstanding efficiency, the SM12CXT-B is an ideal solution for diverse settings such as school auditoriums, gymnasiums, cafeterias, church sanctuaries, and more.
